  • 1 pound ground beef
  • Salt and black pepper, to taste
  • 4 hamburger buns
  • 4 slices of ham
  • 4 slices of cheddar cheese
  • 4 lettuce leaves
  • 4 tomato slices
  • 1/2 red onion, sliced
  • 1 avocado, sliced
  • Ketchup and mustard, to taste


  1. Preheat the grill or a grill pan over medium-high heat.
  2. Season the ground beef with salt and black pepper and form it into 4 patties.
  3. Place the hamburger patties on the grill and cook for about 4-5 minutes per side, or until they are cooked to your liking.
