Thought of trying something special today for dinner. There was some dosa barter left. Thinking of what chutney to make. Started peeling garlic cloves, opened the refrigerator and checked what more to add, found there was pomegranate. Found it interesting, trying to make something instant and new. Finally the output was awesome. Thought of sharing with you all. Try it yourself, you won’t be disappointed.



Pomegranate – 1 small cup

Red Chilly (Spicy) – 1

Garlic Cloves – 5

Mint leaves – 3-4

Salt – as per taste.


Preparation :

Peel the garlic and deseed the pomegranate. Grind all the above ingredients together and transfer to a bowl. The tasty delicious instant Pomegranate chutney is in front of you.



  1. You can have this along with any variety of Dosa or snacks like samosa, kachori.
  2. Try with Kashmiri Chilli, which will give a good color for the chutney.
