Green omelette is an instant recipe, made out of green leaves, healthy and tasty.


Eggs- 2 nos.

Green leaves – 1/2 cup (Any leaves, Basella alba used here)

Onions- 1, finely chopped

Green chillies- 1, finely chopped

Salt to taste

Pepper powder- ½ tsp.

Oil- 1 tbsp.


Preparation Method: Step by Step

  • Break the eggs into a bowl. Beat it well and keep it aside.
  • In a pan take 1 tbsp of oil and add in Onion, Green leaves and chillies
  • Add salt and Saute it.
  • Take the beaten eggs and pour it over the mix and spared it all over
  • Cook it over low flame.
  • Sprinkle ½ tsp pepper powder on top.
  • Flip the omelette slowly to the other side without breaking.
  • Fry for few minutes and turn off the flame.

Green Leaves Omelette is ready to be served. Serve it hot with Bread.



  1. Add ginger and garlic for better flavor.
