Ingredients:
- 1 pound sea scallops
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/4 cup white wine
- 1/2 cup chicken broth
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley
Instructions:
- Pat the sea scallops dry with paper towels and season with salt and pepper. Dredge them in flour and shake off any excess.
- Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the scallops and cook for 2-3 minutes on each side, until golden brown and crispy.
- Remove the scallops from the pan and set aside. Add the garlic to the pan and cook for 1-2 minutes, until fragrant.
- Pour in the white wine and chicken broth, and bring the mixture to a simmer. Cook for 2-3 minutes, until the liquid has reduced by half.
