Sizzle up Some Succulent Sea Scallops for Dinner Tonight

Here’s a recipe for succulent sea scallops:


  • 1 pound sea scallops
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup white wine
  • 1/2 cup chicken broth
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley


  1. Pat the sea scallops dry with paper towels and season with salt and pepper. Dredge them in flour and shake off any excess.
  2. Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the scallops and cook for 2-3 minutes on each side, until golden brown and crispy.
  3. Remove the scallops from the pan and set aside. Add the garlic to the pan and cook for 1-2 minutes, until fragrant.
  4. Pour in the white wine and chicken broth, and bring the mixture to a simmer. Cook for 2-3 minutes, until the liquid has reduced by half.
  5. Add the butter to the pan and swirl it around until it has melted and combined with the sauce.
  6. Return the scallops to the pan and spoon the sauce over them. Sprinkle with chopped parsley and serve immediately.
